Farewell to New Orleans!!!!

This is one place that everyone must visit here in New Orleans
During my visit to New Orleans I have really enjoyed the places that I had visited in New Orleans. One place was the tour of the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 located in the French Quarter.

My class was assigned a tour guide and he was outstanding!!! Upon arriving at Cemetery No. 1, I was very in intrigued by what I was observing. Today in many cemeteries a grave is identified by a head stone. In this cemetery there are many upright stones which houses the deceased body. Due to the water table being high in New Orleans, the graves are very shallow. The upright stones are large, small, white, gray, black, shiny, and dull. Some of the upright stones had the gothic appearance. This cemetery is a historian landmark residing over 200 years. Many lives were lost due to a large uncontrollable epidemic of Yellow Fever. As I stand here next to this gravestone, I find myself asking the question of death for this or several deceased bodies in this upright stone. This cemetery is a place for the deceased of the past, present, and future.

Nicholas Cage's Pyramid Tomb
Nicholas Cage has chosen to carry on history in New Orleans. This tomb will be the location after he is deceased. Seeing this sort of gave me goose bumps just knowing that I was standing next to his future grave. The words engraved on the front of this pyramid tomb says, "All in One".
This historian landmark would be a place that I would visit again someday.
