Expectations of New Orleans

For my expectation, at this time I am really excited about traveling to New Orleans, but a little nervous at the same time. I am nervous because blogging is a new concept of communication for me. I look at this as an adventure of opportunity of traveling to a new destination.

My goal and expectation is to take away a new way of experiencing life of an unknown culture. I am eager to witness the life and culture of the population in New Orleans. I have not been on a vacation for at least 10 years or so. I am very grateful for this opportunity to study another New Orleans as a travel course. I have heard many stories from many people who have had the opportunity to visit New Orleans.

My expectations is for our instructor to remain engaged, and to help me learn and understand the life and culture of New Orleans. My expectations of our instructor is that if a problem should have to rise that we can most certainly go to the instructor for help. My expectations of my instructor would be setting me up for a successful trip.

I am in my second year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Methodist College. This is an upper level Humanities class that is required for my nursing program. I was asked by several classmates if I would like to join them on this exciting journey to New Orleans. I am looking forward to the opportunity of exploring, shopping, eating, and taking in a new culture.
