January 6th, Experiences

Good morning blog followers. It's a new day and it's a free day for myself and my classmates. My journey today began stepping outside and feeling a rush of a warm sensation expanding from the beautiful sky with the appearance of looking blue and bright. Here is a picture of Peyton and me outside our hotel beginning our journey today.

As I was walking uptown towards the French Market, I was experiencing life all around me. There were a variety of noises that I could hear like, cars honking, motorcycles roaring, emergency sirens ringing. I am being surrounded by many people of different races such as Caucasians, African Americans, Asians, and Europeans. There were people walking by themselves or as a group. The people walking up and down the streets of New Orleans consisted of both young and old.
My purpose of my journey today was to observe the culture of the shops in the city of New Orleans. I love fashion and being unique is who I am. My heart rate accelerates with enthusiasms as a sneak peak of merchandise is being displayed thru the glass windows.
I came upon a shoe store which peaked my interest of what awaits inside. As I opened the door there was a pleasant comforting aroma in the air. I found myself wanting to continue into the shop just to ask where the wonderful smell was coming from. It was pumpkin hazelnut candle with a burning wick. As our shopping continued, it was Peyton who saw a dress that was displayed in a window. While she was admiring all the beautiful dresses, I on the other hand was drawn to a large wooden table with an array of unusual jewelry. I was observing the most beautiful unique necklaces made of refurbished Louis Vuitton Purses. While I was closely inspecting this necklace, my mind was fixated on this unique addition to my wardrobe. My shopping day came to an end by making this purchase that fulfilled my heart of wanting something unique and beautiful - sold!!!
